Lovely clean and stylish place which had everything we needed for a comfortable stay

The room was very nice and Mary very kind.

No AC. I feel that check in at 5:00 PM is not OK. Luckily, we found Mary at home and were able to leave our luggage. Had she not been in we would have had to wait until that time carrying the luggage around since it's not a hotel, but a BB we were not aware of.

The location was great, walkable into town if we had wanted to but the weather was rainy so we drove. Street parking was readily available and free. Mary was very good in her communication when I asked her questions and even made dinner reservations for us when we had trouble reaching the restaurant from the US. She greeted us when we arrived and showed us around the place. It was absolutely lovely! The decor was beautiful, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was huge - we could live here! The breakfast room was cute and while we did not cooking, it was nice to have a refrigerator and coffee maker. This is the first time that any hotel has had 2 luggage racks. It is such a thoughtful gesture and one that makes so much difference in comfort, not having to put one suitcase on a chair or the floor. It’s the little things that shows how much the owner cares.

Absolutely nothing. It was wonderful. Okay, maybe one thing, and this shows how perfect the place is…it would be nice to have a small wastebasket in the room. That’s it, I can’t think of anything else I’d suggest.

Fantastic stay, lovely lady greeted us, showed us around and made sure we were settled. Great location just walk over the bridge to get to the centre. Lovely little restaurant around the corner on the river. Great little kitchen with everything in it. Mary and her gorgeous dog seen us off upon leaving. Lucky we got free parking right outside the door.
