Facilities:
The Baltic Sea resort of Thiessow is a wonderful place for anyone who wants to spend relaxing days by the sea while also experiencing Rügen’s charming Bodden landscape. This detached vacation home offers plenty of space for quality time together across its generous 260 square meters. With five bedrooms, it comfortably accommodates up to ten guests—ideal for families with children or vacations with friends.
Thiessow is located at the southern tip of the Mönchgut peninsula and captivates with its unique setting: No fewer than three bodies of water—the Baltic Sea, the Greifswald Bodden, and the Rügen Bodden—surround the town. This opens up a wide range of opportunities for swimming, water sports, or long walks along endless sandy beaches. The beach at Thiessow, in particular, is one of the most beautiful on the island and offers plenty of space for relaxation.
The Mönchgut region is part of the UNESCO Southeast Rügen Biosphere Reserve and impresses with its varied landscape: rolling hills, dunes, bodden shores, forests, and vast meadows define the landscape. Old fishing villages with thatched-roof houses, small harbors, and traditional smokehouses bring the region’s history and culture to life. Bicycle and hiking trails wind through idyllic natural scenery and consistently offer breathtaking views of the countryside and the sea.
Whether you’re seeking nature, culture, or simply the tranquility of the island—Thiessow and Mönchgut combine all of these elements to create the ideal setting for an unforgettable vacation.
