About this house rental
The Baltic Sea resort of Thiessow is an ideal destination for anyone who wants to spend relaxing days by the sea while exploring Rügen’s unspoiled Bodden landscape. This detached vacation home offers plenty of space for relaxation across approximately 260 square meters. Five cozy bedrooms allow up to ten people to stay comfortably—perfect for large families or a vacation with friends.
Located at the southern tip of the Mönchgut peninsula, Thiessow captivates with its exceptional setting: No fewer than three bodies of water—the Baltic Sea, the Greifswald Bodden, and the Rügen Bodden—surround the town. This opens up countless opportunities for swimming, water sports, or long walks along expansive beaches. Thiessow Beach is one of the most beautiful on Rügen and offers plenty of space to relax.
Mönchgut itself is part of the UNESCO Southeast Rügen Biosphere Reserve. Here, rolling hills, dunes, forests, meadows, and tranquil Bodden shores alternate—a landscape that never ceases to delight nature lovers. Historic fishing villages with thatched-roof houses, small harbors, and traditional smokehouses bring the region’s authentic character to life. Numerous biking and hiking trails invite you to actively explore this diversity while enjoying magnificent views of the sea and countryside.
Thiessow and Mönchgut thus combine nature, culture, and tranquility into a vacation experience that will remain in your memory for a long time.
