I did not meet the host, but the lady, owner of the pub, was nice and helped to get it. Parking is good, room is clean. Kitchen was great and, seems, recently renovated. No issues in bathroom either.
Apartments are above a pub. It is not a problem at working days as it is closed at midnight, but at weekends it may booze longer. So, either you join the party there or use earplugs)

no food avaiable, but kitchen was very good. There is a pet policy on their page but when we arrived we were told no pets allowed, the owner made an exception for us as we had 3 dogs with us
maybe food available at the pub , lovely chip shop across the raod
