Perfekt mit vielen*!

Das Haus ist ein ganz besonderes Schmuckstück. Liebevoll und besonders restauriert. Mit wunderbaren Gastgebern, die sich sehr persönlich um uns gekümmert haben (damit wir den Weg nicht verfehlen wurden wir am Tor erwartet, es wurde ein Anruf im Restaurant getätigt, um die Öffnung zu erfragen und uns anzukündigen! Wunderbar). Wir durften sogar das Haus ansehen mit den vielen tollen Räumlichkeiten. Auch die Außenanlagen würden im Sommer zum Aufenthalt einladen (im Januar reicht uns ein Blick in den Garten). Es war wunderbar ruhig, das Zimmer war zum Verdunkeln mit herrlichen Fendterläden, im Zimmer stand gefiltertes Wasser bereit in einer Glaskaraffe. Die Einrichtung war einfach besonders, abgestimmt, geschmackvoll und auch das Bettzeug war gemütlich und stilvoll. Selten oder nie eine so wunderbare Unterkunft besucht. Das Frühstück? Unglaublich, mit leckerem Obstsalat, frischem Brot, Croissants, Käse, selbst gemachter Marmelade (köstlich), Tee, und sogar ein frischgepresster Orangensaft war dabei. Nein, mehr geht gar nicht! Perfekt. Schade, dass wir so selten diesen Weg fahren, sonst würden wir uns freuen, regelmäßig einen Besuch abzustatten. Aber bestimmt kommen wir wieder. Danke für die Gastfreundschaft.

Geweldig

House of Mailly is een prachtig en tot in de puntjes gerestaureerd landhuis. Heel mooi en authentiek ingericht en de sfeervolle kamers zijn allemaal verschillend behangen. Vicky en Jean Luc zijn geweldige gastheren en zorgden er voor dat het ons aan niets ontbrak. Het ontbijt was erg uitgebreid en we voelden ons koninklijk behandeld. Ze hebben ons op alle mogelijke manieren geholpen en verwend. Wanneer we een volgend keer in de buurt zijn komen we er zeker terug.

Op de dag dat wij er verbleven was de lokale horeca helaas zeer beperkt geopend.
