First the location, then the standard, not to forget a very professional and welcoming personnel.

Just the lack of lift but the owner took some of our luggage up for us.

Had potential to be a pleasant stay - wouldn’t stay again

Parking

Room located in annex not in main hotel. We complained about sewage smell from en suite. No other room available. The only interaction I had with staff next day, one came with master key into our bedroom early as I was dressing and prior to checking out as I was bringing a bag to car, a staff member came rushing from the reception over to me demanding I paid the €2 tax - that I literally was retrieving in coin from the car- I felt as if I was been accused of a crime - and we hadn’t even checked out - which I did with room card and €2 in coin. Some 5 minutes later- very poor customer care….

It was ok, someone needs to do some gardening!

The hotel is right in the middle of the town Beautifully positioned for a walk around. The bed was quite comfortable. The young receptionist was delightful! The breakfast was lovely and plenty of it.

The room smelt musty and the pillows were awful. The shower cubicle was the smallest imaginable of poured water all over the floor. The doors did not shut properly There was no kettle to make drinks in our room!

Well located and calm environment. Great looking main house. Clean and newly renovated. Connected rooms, perfect with children.

Wifi didn't work. I asked the staff but didn't seem to be concerned. No instruction in the room to help connect. Phone network in 3G only so it was impossible for me to send urgent mail/documents for work.

A/C in room excellent. Hotel is central to town. Car park felt secure.

Our room was in a separate building to the side. On the day we stayed there was a musical event happening next door we were not warned about. In the (small) room there was no soap to wash our hands, no drinking facilities (hot or cold) either.

we were given a room in a separate building and locked out of the main building. we had to walk around to the main entrance to get breakfast. Breakfast foods ran out but we’re not replenished.

The building is lovely, in a good spot, but it has some failings in customer service and facilities

The breakfast was disappointing, very little choice and had to search for staff to ask for eggs which were on the menu. The bathroom did not have a door, so it was open plan and although there was a shower head there was no wall fixing it for it. The door knob for the toilet was very difficult to use from the inside unless you had very small hands. On the plus side plenty of parking and the location is good for the town. No tea or coffee facilities in the room, no bottled water.

We booked knowing that the hotel had a bar and a restaurant, but found out after we booked that the restaurant had closed. The bar was not open after we returned from dinner in the town at 9pm and there were no facilities in the room for tea or coffee, and no where to sit apart from in our room.

A great stopover for us - would stay here again.

Large modern room with big comfy bed. Very big shower/wet room with soft towels. Aircon was an absolute bonus. Lovely staff - very helpful & spoke good english. Good selection at breakfast - would stay here again. The recommended restaurant Ferme St Jacques was also really good & the local wines were excellent. Lots of parking on site.

Gardens a little neglected but the exceptionally hot weather with drought conditions had continued for weeks so it's to be expected in some ways.

Great location and nice, functional room within a grand French house setting

Good location, close to the town centre and right next to the river. Comfy, modern room, compact but not too small and a nice bathroom. Big garden with lots of space to relax.

The room smelt of cigarettes when I arrived and it took a while to air the room out both opening the windows and turning the air conditioning up high. Breakfast options slightly limited and not replenished - if you weren't there at 9am then you may not have everything available to you.

Basic with an uncomfortable bed

We only stayed one night to be near a wedding and didn’t stay at the property long. It was really just to sleep. Of what we saw of the property it was fine but nothing special. Aircon was nice to have.

The most uncomfortable bed and pillow. Like a rock. I don’t think I could have stayed longer than one night. Barely slept. We also asked for an early check in between 12-1 but no one was at the desk and had trouble finding someone because our phones wouldn’t work to call. Not the best start.

the main building looked impressive but on closer inspection it was run down

the immediate exterior of our annexed room was disgusting, broken, rusty awnings frame!
