Superb

Central location. It was an extremely hot day. However we actually didn't need to close the curtains it was a lovely comfortable room. New shower fitted. Spotlessly clean. Large fan in room. Comfy bed. We could park right outside for free after 6pm. We didn't eat breakfast. Reception is only manned at 4pm. So don't arrive early as parking regulations could be as much as 25 euros for all night. When there's no need as the Parking has a two hour restriction limit yet it's free after 6pm. If you arrive at 5pm get a ticket from the machine for one hr free. Pretty aspect. The Hotelier kindly recommended two restaurants in town to dine at. Which we did. And enjoyed.

Amazing hosts.

The owners went out of their way to find parking for our cars and booked a table for us at a nearby restaurant when almost everything in town was closed for a bank holiday. They were amazing. The location was great for walking into town.

The hotel was just what a hotel needs to be: comfortable, all facilities fine. The hotel owner is very friendly and helpful (I left something in the room, and he immediately contacted me on how to return it to me). Also a good place to leave my bicycle safely. Excellent breakfast as well, with good quality bread etc.

Great little spot

The breakfast was delicious with lots of yummy local melon, jams, pastries and homemade cake. The location is very good just off the main square down a pretty street. The staff were very friendly and helpful too. They sweetly said our two small children could have breakfast free of charge which was very generous of them.

Lovely family run hotel in the centre of town. My first choice if I am staying in Chatteleroute

This is a lovely hotel in the centre of town close to the bars and restaurants. The managers are really friendly. When I arrived on my motorcycle the manager asked if I wanted to park it in his private garage which I did. I did not ask or expect this as there is adequate parking outside but it was most appreciated knowing my bike would not be on the street all night.

I was on my own so was fine. However there was no door between the toilet/shower room, which would mean no privacy if there were two of you. The addition of a sliding door would be advantageous, and give a little privacy.

A comfortable hotel in the centre of town with friendly hosts.

We were warmly welcomed by the friendly lady owner. Our bikes were stored securely inside the hotel and we were helped with our panniers - the hotel has a lift, which was very welcome. Our room was comfortable with everything we needed. The breakfast was a buffet with a great selection of food. The hotel is in the centre of the town and just a few minutes walk from all facilties including bars and restaurants. The hotel is great for a short stay/weekend and ideal for cyclists.

Apart the WiFi problem, the place was in line with expectations.

Convenient parking places right in front of the hotel. Room was modest but comfortable. In line with expectations except for the WiFi. Staff was helpful.

We arrived early in the afternoon. The place was closed and I had to contact a telephone number to get access. This however took only few minutes. The WiFi connection is very weak on the 3rd floor with all my devices (laptop, smart phone). I had to go down in the lobby of the to first floor to get a connection

Une nuit d'horreur

Depuis 15 ans que je voyage dans toute la France, c'était de loin la pire expérience, ils ont étais très désagréable avec nous, c'était pas propre, très petit, des fleurs en plastique etc. Je ne recommande surtout pas, à éviter. En plus ils nous ont surtaxé pour une chambre plus grande(apparemment). Ils ont profité de l'occasion comme on est arrivé après 20H , ça aurait étais compliqué pour nous de partir à cette heure là pour chercher un autre hôtel. Les portes ne sont pas sécurisée, un petit coup d'épaule et c'est ouvert.

Une halte sympa au cœur de Chatellerault

L'accueil souriant, la disponibilité et les conseils du gérant. Le lit confortable et le calme, même en dormant fenêtre ouverte. Cet hôtel propose des chambres récemment rénovées, d'un bon rapport qualité/prix, en plein cœur de ville, parfait pour manger en terrasse à 100 mètres sur la place et découvrir le centre piétonnier. Pour le stationnement, demandez à l'accueil qui sera de bon conseil.
