Starlight Nights - Cosy Studio Apartment

Would have given this 0 out of 10 if allowed. I'm am still in shock, upset and guilty about taking my family here days later do NOT stay here, I have vids photos to back it up. Believe me, everything is true. We holiday abroad 4 times a year, in the UK several weekends a year and have never seen anything like this. stayed in Airbnbs, left great reviews and had good reviews back, I've stayed in basic properties many a time . Been to Pontins loads and that is like luxury compared to this. Feel free to contact me to ask for evidence. Booking.com would be horrified to think they are listing a place like this. Good reviews ( 10/10??!!!) are obviously from them . "We strive to be the best" is their job tagline. Really?????!!!!! Contacted the property when I got home and gave a comprehensive list of everything wrong, including them ignoring us, having no bed for 2 people for both nights and the filth squalor and dangerous electrics, to ask for refund, & they agreed it was unacceptable but had the cheek to offer less than half back! When I said, "Have you not read what I put?? You should be paying us compensation for trauma, with what we had to put up with, I want a full refund," they just ignored me. Now going thru Booking.com for refund. I have vids, photos and saved all text messages. Absolutely horrific. Do not go! Now theyve put a "response" which is all lies. I kept texts. I told them not enough kitchenware & oven gave my daughter elec shock but didn't diss the apartment at time as was worried they'd not bring bedding!!! They didn't anyway . .how would they have "inspected and addressed" when they didn't bring bedding &ignored texts after their first reply? They are liars . Put review of Starlight nights in Google. Nothing as described. 1 small room, tiny ensuite. No bedroom, no dining table, 1 bed, with bedding, tiny sofa bed with NO BEDDING/DUVET/PILLOWS despite me contacting the place pre arrival to check there were beds/duvets, bedding for 4 people. On finding no duvet pillows etc ,texted the property & was told they wouldn't do a thing that night, would bring next day. I said that was unacceptable, where are my kids meant to sleep? Got ignored then. My kids had an awful uncomfy cold night .1 small oil rad in damp cold room. Didn't even bring bedding NEXT night so hubby and I slept on the sofabed in coats & jeans as I wasn't letting the kids do that again. We're in our 60s!! This caused a row as the kids didnt want US sleeping like that but I cried when theyd said how bad it was the night before, so that wasn't happening again. I sent several texts asking where promised bedding was & was ignored. 1 light bulb in whole place, oven filthy & ancient & daughter got electric shock from it. Bathroom filthy, mould up walls, grime everywhere, thick yellow stuff stuck to toilet pan . Looroll wet with damp. No hot water for shower Sat am. The "fully equipped" kitchen items you could fit in a cereal packet. Wires running across floor to an ext lead - trip hazard, gaps in floor, filth everywhere. Most things listed not there. No free parking as stated. I asked where I'd park 2 days before , was told no parking there but I could park on the street until 8am!!!! Told them was going to cancel so they "Sorted some" for me. I was worried it was in a permit only zoneb but they said it was sorted & they'd put my reg in. 1399 feet2?? its 25 feet2 at most Wouldve left on arrival but had tickets for Bradford v Reading next day & was too tired for long drive Sat night after all the stress & I'm the only driver. So thankful to leave Sunday. I was totally conned.

Stayed here with my family, and my little niece as I was visiting my mum in hospital. Host communicated throughout the stay; was a perfect cosy little location.

would prefer extra towels as my cousin wanted a shower in the morning however for the price i ain’t complaining.

Place is absolutely shocking. Not fit for purpose. Definitely not to accommodate any family. At the time on me making my reservation it was listed on booking app as with free on site parking. There's no parking, can only park in front of offices after 17.00 hrs till early morning. The property was FALSELY listed as a TWO BEDROOM APARTMENT at the time of my booking. There is no family rooms, no bedrooms, not even one bedroom. It's a tiny STUDIO FLAT!!! Numerous other amenities were and still are also falsely listed, there's no air conditioning, no fire place, no view, no garden, no dining table, the list just goes on and on. It's absolutely filthy. The stench inside is horrific, was making my boy caughed. We've only managed to stay one night purely to sleep after first wedding day Could not bear being there during a day and checked-out 1 day earlier. There's broken window which doesn't shut, in the middle of the winter!!! To heat the room you are provided with damaged portable oil heater and plug into socket portable fan heater. It says on the website and the app it's got A/C. Shower covered in black mould. Didn't use it obviously for health reasons. Had to take my wife and son and travel 30 minutes to relatives in Batley in order to shower before the wedding. There's wires everywhere. It's absolutely filthy and dirty.

Room size was ok and love the lightning .

Everything was perfect , only there is no privacy , window curtain was too small and kitchen window there was no blind or curtain
