There was nothing not to like, friendly people, excellent location

The remote location, proximity to the beach, sheep all around the lodge, dog exercise area, beautiful lodge,

Only one small thing which would have my stay better was if the lodge would have the basic supplies in the kitchen like salt, pepper, sugar tea coffee

Lovely home from home. Great views and dog walking facilities. Nice interaction with host kay who provided good recommendations for places to eat and visit.Tv and heating provided comfortable living.

The double bed was too small for 2 people to sleep comfortably. The window on opposite side from kitchen was ill fitting and let in a lot of wind causing the window blind to move around( the weather wasn't great on the first night). There's nowhere to put toiletries in the bathroom. A small corner shelf in the shower area would have been sufficient. If 4 adults were staying, there's not enough comfy seats for 4 in the lounge area. I leave this review as constructive criticism for small improvements to enhance a lovely lodge in a lovely part of the world. Well done Kay and Ian and keep up the good work. X

The lodge was clean upon arrival and the views over to Ireland excellent. Two friendly sheep in the field by the farmhouse stole the show. Lots of places to visit nearby, we went to feed alpacas, went to the oyster festival in Stranraer, Logan botanic gardens, and plenty of options to go for food as well
