The perfect place to recharge in the most amazing surroundings

The location was perfect. The view was so peaceful and the sheep in the fields were adorable and enjoyed being petted. The hosts were welcoming and friendly. The luxury welcome pack was amazing and full of delicious treats The night sky was totally unspoilt so star gazing was unlike anything we’ve seen at home There was a guest folder that made lots of welcome suggestions and a magazine in the lodge with them as well so it was lovely to wake up and plan a day out based on the weather and all the suggestions as well as things we had in mind. There was a lovely short walk to a beach through the fields

Perfect holiday to switch off from the world

This was our 2nd year here & we absolutely love it. We brought the family this time and had 3 lodges. We had a family emergency before we got here so had to do a bit of a change of occupancy in the lodges with dogs etc, Kay & Ian were very understanding. We got the welcome packs again & they did not disappoint!! We were lucky enough some surprise lambs had been born so got a hold. This place has amazing views & is very peaceful to switch off. Great base for going around Dumfries & Galloway. We will be back!

Lovely 3 day break but wouldn't want to stay much longer.

Loved the view mostly. The lodge was just a static caravan though and the rooms were caravan size. Comfortable (apart from the double bed which as too small for us. Well equipped throughout. Lovely host, walk to Portpatrick was too far for me sadly.

Fantastic short break -great lodge -wonderful scenery -brilliant hosts -we will be back .

Lovely lodge with superb views over the farm and down to the sea , lovely outside decking area -secure for our dog , comfortable sitting and dining area inside with smart tv and spotlessly clean . Brilliant location at the farm -lovely to see the lambs and chickens . Luxury hamper we’d added was great with freshly made local produce . Also the ability to buy eggs and preserves via the wee honesty box . Kay and Ian were lovely hosts and so helpful . Great communications from them .

BEST holiday EVER!

We had such an amazing holiday! We loved everything about the accommodation, the farm, the location... view is spectacular, overseeing the Irish coast. The lodge is fully equipped, but shall you require anything extra, Kay & Ian are more than happy to help! They are the most welcoming hosts! (Thank you, again, Kay & Ian!❤️) We were lucky enough to visit during lambing season and got a chance to see the wee lambs and to feed them...so precious! A huuuge plus for the very hot water, it's one of the few accommodations ever (!!!) with such high water pressure and temperature, which is God given after day trips. The welcome basket was insane, with home-made biscuits and cupcakes. We got cheese, butter, fresh milk and farm eggs..and many, MANY more! Everything was just PERFECT!

Amazing Farmstay With Animals & Scenery Galore

Wow wow wow! Absolutely loved our stay from start to finish. Ian & Kay are everything you want as a farm stay host. Available to help, sending clear information upon booking and always available should you need them. The lambs are adorable and Kay was kind enough to show us around the lambing shed, and then again before we left so I could take some photos with my camera. The views out to sea are perfect, with their lovely sheep close by and Ireland in the distance. Location beautiful and can’t wait to go back again. Thanks for being so kind and accommodating to us.

A wonderful stay in a lovely location

The facilities were great, it was big enough for us and our dogs and got warm and cosy very quickly when the fires were on. Free WiFi was provided and there was a smart speaker and TV for entertainment. The location gave us a wonderful view of the coast, fantastic at sunrise and sunset. There's a beach within 20 minutes walk and Portpatrick is about an hour's walk away, perfect for giving us and our dogs some exercise

This isn't a negative but it might be worth considering an awning and heater for the patio area so it could be used during the colder/wetter months.

Ian the host was always on hand if you needed him .The views from the lodge were breathtaking and the farm quiet and peacefu andl was a great place to relax and unwind .we would definitely return .many thanks 👍👍👍👍

Fantastic from start to finish!

Absolutely loved the view! The beds were extremely comfortable. The heating was great when needed. Excellent shower, bathroom and kitchen facilities. Ian & Kay (the owners) were friendly, welcoming and even got my young son involved feeding the sheep!!! Checking in and out were simple and straightforward. Great stay all round.

I absolutely loved the location and how cosy the cabin was. The hosts were wonderful, making sure we had everything we needed and knew how to contact them, otherwise they left us alone.

The bed was a little small for two rather large adults, but that's to be expected. I always forget how small a double bed is.
