Spacious and self catering with a braai

The serenity of the location, surrounded by plum trees and the amazing mountain views. The wood fired hot tub was definitely a highlight. We stayed here for a wedding at Deux Lion and it was just an easy walk to the venue from our cottage.
Thanks to Fabian for his hospitality. He was prompt to respond to our questions and needs.
The kitchen wasn't completely stocked nor well equipped. Plenty of empty cupboards with utensils stored in multiple places, as such it was hard to find anything in the kitchen. The grudge was also too tiny for a house that can fit up to 7 people.

Beautiful setting on the outskirts of Franschhoek - peaceful and quiet.

The property felt safe and was very easy to access. The location was also good and convenient.
Several of the towels provided were clearly used and smelled like sweat. The shower drain was clogged, and over the three days of my stay I did not have a single hot shower. There were repeated electricity outages with no warning, which meant my phone could not be charged, the fan would shut off at night causing uncomfortable heat, and food in the fridge was spoiled when the power went out. On the final night, from around 2am to 5am, the guests in the room next door were extremely loud and disruptive. Even after being asked to quiet down, the noise continued with shouting, laughing, and very loud sexual activity, making it impossible to sleep.
