What we loved most about Le Fleur de Soleil was the wonderful combination of a beautiful property, spacious accommodation and truly exceptional hospitality. Our suite was extremely comfortable and generously sized, with a private balcony and magnificent mountain views that made it a lovely place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Franschhoek. Breakfast was another highlight of our stay. The selection was extensive, beautifully presented and of excellent quality, making each morning something to look forward to. Above all, it was the people who made our stay so memorable. Victoria is an exceptional host whose warmth, attention to detail and thoughtful recommendations made us feel genuinely looked after throughout our visit. Wendy, Patricia and the entire team were equally warm, attentive and welcoming. Franschhoek captured our hearts, and Le Fleur de Soleil played a very special part in that experience. We arrived as guests but left feeling we had discovered somewhere we would genuinely love to return to.

The welcome and services by Wendy were amazing. Our room was spacious and well decorated. The massage service was also good. All the staff were helpful in what to do, where to eat, etc especially Stanley. Communications prior to arrival and wine tasting itinerary arranged for the day of departure was excellent. Location was good and we felt safe walking to the main street which was 10min away. Breakfast was also amazing especially when it was serve in our room one morning.

Excellent location to walk and explore Franschhoek, we felt thoroughly spoilt and looked after throughout our stay. We were spoiled with delicious breakfast, lovely local coffee and preserves. The team were so thoughtful and thorough, remembering our (delicious) breakfast choices each day and checking to make sure we were happy with things throughout our stay. We were supported in making travel arrangements to the airport, advice on things to do and places to eat/drink/explore. The room was clean and thoughtfully put together, and the team kindly let us stay for a late checkout as we had a late flight home.

Comfortable room, pleasant helpful staff, good breakfast. Good accommodation for anybody wanting to walk into town to FLF venues and many restaurants etc.

Only 3x inside secure parkings. We arrived separately in 2x vehicles and had to park outside on the street (property does not have its own security guard). Could have been mentioned on our email or phone communication. Comfortable bed and room but open-plan bathroom area not our preference. Perhaps mentioned but I didn't pick it up on the booking site. Too many outside security lights around room, even with blinds closed. A personal preference but property restricted to a big house and pool area, not enough open area/gardens. We prefer a feeling of open spaces with views. A plan was made for breakfast in the reception lobby because a chilly morning - special effort was made and appreciated - but felt a little crammed and adhoc.
