Room layout was unusual. I should have reviewed the pics better before booking. The room felt like a giant bathroom with a bed.

We had a wonderful stay at The Lab Guesthouse. The open plan spacious modern room is beautiful designed and felt comfortable and luxurious. The breakfast was a highlight with a great variety of delicious option to choose from. We also enjoyed the heated pool.
The water pressure of the shower was very low.

Rooms are big and beds are good. Location outside of the centre of the village (but walkable) meant it was quiet. Good to have a pool in hot weather.
The design tries to be clever and modern, but misses the mark. Basics like NO BEDSIDE LIGHTS, so have to get out of bed to turn off the harsh blue overhead lights. Breakfast was a joke - our coffee orders were wrong over and over again, and then coffee was seriously substandard. The dogs running around barking didn't make it peaceful. Wasn't good value for money. Looked a lot better in the photos than it was in real life.
