Location is perfect for reaching popular eateries and sightseeing at Kuching Waterfront. We were just walking distance from famous lok-lok, restaurants, cute cafes, waterfront, and parks (taman) nearby for running. The attached cafe with a good selection of coffee, teas, cakes and gelato was too charming! We loved the design of the rooms and loft - super calming and aesthetic. We wished we could stay longer to enjoy the common area and play a round of Nintendo. Staff were super friendly and helpful to explain self-check in to us when we arrived late at night. Pictures of the rooms are accurate. Will definitely return for a longer stay.
I think the floors were a bit dusty. Besides that, cleanliness was good.

Quiet, clean and comfortable. Relatively close to the waterfront. Pleasant staff
No external window. The stairs up to the room. The sharp corners on the wooden bed base that were a danger to shins when walking past.

Very unique space and design of the room. Very aesthetic for anyone who likes a non-conventional looking hotel room.
It feels abit awkward to go take off your shoes to go up the stairs in the cafe, especially if the cafe is crowded.
Also the check-in process was not clear. I was not sure if the cafe counter was actually the place to check in (It is). And also the cafe opens at the timing when we are supposed to check out. To get a physical deposit back, you will have to wait till the cafe opens.
The door to the room can remain open. No auto closing, and no auto locking. So it can be quite dangerous, and must always remember to physically lock the door when youre inside and when you leave, not like the usual hotel door.
