We highly recommend this place and its owner. We were six adults and one four year-old. There was room for all of us. The beds and the sheets and the duvet were of excellent quality. Bedrooms are large. The bath towels were of excellent quality. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses, etc. The hot tub was used daily, sometimes two or three times a day. It was obvious that its maintenance and care was kept up. While we didn’t use the fireplace, we appreciated the preparations that were made to stock wood and kindling and make it ready. The home was clean. It is beautiful and well appointed. Communication with the owner was good and they were very helpful with our request we had at the start of our stay. If we were in the area again we would choose to stay here.

This property is exactly what it looks like. Gorgeous and beautifully maintained. The instructions from the hosts were perfect--labels on everything so you know where things go. The instructions for the wood-fireplace were hilariously precise which I appreciated--best fire I've ever made. The beds are as comfy as they look, the hot-tub was clean and easily accessible. I highly recommend it, very private. Perfect for a luxurious getaway.

Laurie and Ricardo were excellent hosts! We felt the home was extremely clean, comfortable and nice and close to Sooke. The hosts were very responsive and made accommodation for our logistics which was very kind. We’d certainly recommend to those looking to stay in the area.
