About this house rental
What makes an ideal west coast vacation home is a place on the beach for a large or a small family, with indoor and outdoor fireplaces, and a hot tub with view. Driftwood Beach House has all of this. In addition, this property is a short drive from some great area attractions. The house is on the scenic Sooke to Port Renfrew Cowichan Circle route (the Pacific Marine Circle Route). Botanical Beach is at Port Renfrew and in the other direction there is Butchart Gardens. Victoria is a great place to visit with its quaint waterfront downtown, and Canada's oldest China Town.
There is a separate cabin (not included) that can be rented along with the house for an extra $50 / night (plus tax and cleaning). This contains the 4th bedroom and the 3rd bathroom. The cabin is never rented out on its own. Posted rates do not include the cabin.

We could not get over the view from this ocean front property. We loved it so much that we just wanted to relax at the place instead of view the surrounding area! The sprawling deck, beach, hot tub, fire pit all with majestic views. Inside the house was stocked with everything we would want and comfy beds. We hated to leave, it was just what we wanted.

Absolutely wonderful with a stunning location!! We would come back any time at any moment. Have never seen such a well stocked kitchen in a rental. All items, including pots and pans were totally usable, not all scratched up. The view is beyond exceptional!! Stay here if you need a vrbo on Sooke. It is located on blind curves in both directions and that was difficult when you have an extra large vehicle like we do. We worked it out though and absolutely loved our stay. Wish we didn't have to leave.

Five of us -the grandma, the parents and two kids- spent two weeks for Easter in this very family friendly house, enjoying the hot tub, garden and beach. (We didn't need the cabin.) It could not have been better...very comfortable and casual. The house is very well-equipped, the hot tub was a great bonus in all weather, as was the fire pit. We loved the outside decks too. The garden is spectacular and was bursting with spring flowers.And then THE incredible beach!!! Though there is some public access, we still felt very private, and loved walking the surf line at all hours and seeing so much sea life...otters, sea lions, so many birds. No whales though. We especially loved going to the rocks at the small cove to the west side. We never knew barnacles were SO interesting to watch!!!Rob was very responsive if we had a question and came by to make sure everything was okay. Thanks, Rob.We loved our introduction to Sooke and will definitely be back!!!
