St Mark's Square - K Collection

Great location. Quiet but central. Good bedroom sizes and living space.

No individual room AC. Bathroom was quite grotty.

The central location of the apartment made exploring Venice very enjoyable, everything we could want was right on our doorstep! Checking in was made very easy and clear by the host, and we were able to relax from our journey in a spotlessly clean and comfortable apartment. We had plenty of space to relax, the kitchen was well equipped and the beds comfortable and clean. An ideal home base for a wonderful trip to Venice.... Oh and less than 30 seconds to walk into St Mark's square, FANTASTIC!!

There is one small flight of steps up to the apartment on the first floor, but it was only tricky on the first and last day with the suitcases, and given that there are steps and bridges throughout Venice, it really wasn't a big deal, just a heads up. Whilst the apartment was clean and well presented, the bathroom is starting to look a little tired in places and would benefit from a bit of a refresh in the quiet season to match the rest of the lovely apartment.

The location is the best feature of this apartment. You are just a few steps from Piazza San Marco. The kitchen is in great shape and is equipped with everithing esential. Very close by you have restaurants, shops, caffes and the gondola ride is right at your doorstep. I gues the prise is reasonable considering the location and that is quite hard to find a place with more than 2 separate bedrooms.

The appartment looks qiute nice on the pictures, but the reality is a bit different. Small bedrooms, uncomfortable beds, adsurdly small shower. Its worth mentioning that the bathroom is only one for a three bedroom apartment and is in deprerate need of major renovation. The place was not cleaned properly. And my greatest dissapointment only one aircon placed in the hall (may be there are restrictions). The only way too cool down the apartment wtih it is to leave all the doors open and just leave it to work on the lowest setting. It might be a tad bit uncomfortable if you're not that close with the people you're traveling with :)
