Ca' dei Armeni - San Marco Square

La atención de los propietarios. La ubicación. Es un apartamento es de tres dormitorios. Están bien equipados. La cocina y los baños están muy actualizados. Cocina con todo lo necesario.

Las escaleras. Comprendo que en Venecia no suele haber ascensiones. Y se entienden las escaleras. Pero tiene un tramo de escaleras muy empinadas y con algunos escalones especialmente delicados. Es la única pega que tiene el establecimiento. Todo lo demás de 10.

Great location and quite just a short walk to St. Marks square.

Steps up could be challenging for some but we’re fit as fiddles.

The apartment has been renovated in a sensitive way keeping period features but ensuring guests have access to modern bathrooms. The property is very close to St Mark’s square although it is tucked away on a quiet back street. The property owners were more than helpful during our stay.

Some people go on about the stairs up to the property being steep , but this is to be expected from such a historic building and should now put you off.

Isaaco was super helpful in meeting us at Rialto to show us to our apartment and help us get settled in even at 9:30pm at night. We loved the views of the rooftops and bell towers. The beds were comfy. the bathrooms were well appointed and having air con and a washing machine to hand was a god send in the August heat. We also loved the central location. It was really close to St Marks square and Rialto so if you can get over the steps and you don't have an issue with some of your party being completely separate then this is an excellent choice. If you have any concerns about 70 steep uneven steps to reach the apartment then this is not for you. The host though was a 10/10 and we can't speak highly enough of him! We were also allowed to store our luggage for the day while we did a little more rambling and this was v much appreciated as we didn't depart the city until 3pm on the day of checkout. We thought that this was a really flexible and customer friendly approach

The apartment was very authentic, well appointed and clean but if you are travelling with children please note that the steps are seriously steep and not really suitable. The second bedroom is totally separate and on another floor so again you can't really leave children up there alone. We definitely wouldn't have been comfortable to leave our children up on another floor separated by steel doors and a steep flight of stone stairs. Equally if you have a lot of luggage this is not the best place to stay despite its central location. When I booked the apartment it wasn't v clear that the apartment I had specifically chosen was the one that had the steps so beware of this. This was only clarified once payment was no longer refundable. I would say however that Isaaco did everything he could to make our stay comfortable and understood our predicament stating that Booking/com don't allow for the full description so its just something to be aware of.
