City Centre Gem - Near Lime St - Parking - Fast Wifi

This property was perfectly suitable for our survival with all facilities in the heart of the liverpool. We had a great and wonderful first ever experience in liverpool. The apartment gave us all home like vibes.

Water was a bit slow

The Liverpool City Gem was a great base for our exploration of the Beatles. The facilities is not a hotel but a fully functional flat, clean, nicely presented, the kitchen includes all the implements you need to cook if you're not inclined to eat out, refrigerator, tea & coffee were provided and the washing machine and drying rack was a life saver. Liverpool Lime Street is short walk and the entire city, the Liver Building, the Museum of Liverpool, the Cavern District, is in easy walking distance.

The area and hallway let down the Liverpool City Gem, strong odor of cigarettes and cooking but it wasn't noticeable in the flat. If you are not comfortable with cities, we did not issue with the homeless in the area, but their presents would be intimidating.

Good looking place, short taxi away from the city, had everything we needed for one night.

Although we booked this place on the same day. Communication break down with the host, took ages to reply, wouldn’t answer phone only does text message which made it longer for us to sort out the check in, didn’t complete check in till late evening because of that, HAD TO PAY DEPOSIT WHICH WASNT EVEN ADVERTISED! however only £60 which they refunded on the very last 5th working day at like midnight, and had to keep reminding them about it, felt like had to keep chasing the host for things other hosts do automatically like sending an email to explain the check in process for what’s required before check in, or process about refunds, probably worst experience I’ve had when it comes to communication with a host on booking.com
