The hot tub, and the privacy

The heat, no windows, only patio doors could open. Sky light in living room and bedroom. Very stuffy. Probably a lot better when the weathers not as hot.

Beautiful apartment in a lovely area, the park right next to it is perfect for dog owners. The hot tub and outdoor space was small but perfectly adequate. The cleanliness and style off the apartment was perfect.

Only one thing, it was warm this weekend and the bedroom was very warm indeed. Could do with a blind on the skylight for heat/ light purposes.

Property was easy to access and hosts informative, it's in a lovely location not far from the centre but very private and quiet. There's a lovely park directly opposite so if you have a dog it's very convenient. The property is also nicely appointed and the hot tub was fabulous, would definitely come back - Thankyou!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend, only feedback I could provide, my mother is elderly and would have benefited from the option of a bathmat, and a blind for the window over the top of the bed

This rental is in a lovely part of a lovely town, directly opposite Queens Park in a beautiful and quiet suburb of Llandudno. The accommodation itself is an annex built at the end of the driveway of the main house which separately houses other rentals - if looking it up on other sites, be careful that this is the “outer”, not “lower” or”upper”. The annex consists a kitchenette, a bedroom and bathroom. As previous reviews have mentioned, only window in the bedroom is a fixed skylight but with no blind - combined with the white walls, this makes the room extremely bright from reflecting sunlight as early as 4.40am, so be sure to take an eyemask. Additionally, the skylight traps heat and makes the room very hot, and the bedroom has no other windows or ventilation. A dehumidifier was provided but no fan, and the doors / windows in the other rooms cannot be left open when away due to it being a ground floor annex directly visible from the road. In short, bring a fan and eyemasks.

Biggest issue during our stay related to communication: booking.com listed the check-in time as 4pm, we reached out at 2.51pm for check-in details and didn’t get any comms from the host until 4.15pm - which ironically stated check-in was from 3pm. Upon arriving at 4.30pm, it was apparent that the place had not been cleaned from previous visitors (beds stripped, towels in bath tub etc.) - after calling the host the property was cleaned and was available to us at around 6pm. Similarly on departure, booking.com listed check-out as 11am but we were told that check-out was actually 10am (despite this not being what the booking was for). This meant in total we lost about 3 to 4hrs without any explanation or proactive communication - not the end of the world for us but would have been very disappointing for anyone on a shorter stay. There were however many positives to our stay too: the property was (once cleaned) spotless throughout with modern fixtures & fittings, the bed was comfy (discounting the heat & light issues), and the hot tub was amazing. The area is beautiful and quiet, both in terms of the town and our access to the wider North Wales and Snowdonia area. There are some “quick wins” - a fan, a skylight blind, and proactive comms & organisation to ensure accommodation was available for all of the time booked - that would have comfortably moved this from a three star review to a five star stay.
