Lush , beautifully decorated apartment

BEST AVOIDED IF YOU VALUE CARING HOSTS AND A RESTFUL BREAK

The location was ideal for what we wanted and the bed was quite comfortable. The way in which the apartment was decorated was very striking.

I tried to call the hosts a couple of times after night 1 and in the end I left a message around 9 a.m. Sadly, I had no response to my message, so I emailed our concerns the following day and have received NO RESPONSE some 3 weeks later, which is beyond rude. What we really wanted was some help from our hosts after the first night of really badly disrupted sleep, due to what appears to be a complete lack of acoustic insulation. In fact, any noise from the apartment upstairs is amplified (I believe it is owned by the same people). To be clear, the people upstairs were not disrespectful or in any way rowdy, but one of them was very heavy footed and they had 2 dogs and their scrabbling on the hard floor was made to sound extremely loud. On our first night, we were awoken several times before midnight as a result of the heavy footsteps and scrabbling (we genuinely thought the dogs had somehow gotten into our apartment due to the volume), the sound of them chatting for half an hour in bed (they were not shouting but we could hear it like they were in bed with us) and one of them snoring. The plumbing noise from upstairs is also unacceptable - you can hear the water running, toilet flushing and loud knocks when the taps are turned off. The apartment is comfortable and nicely presented, but he acoustic insulation issues, a broken fridge door, lack of oven mitts or a kitchen bowl, a broken blind in the living room that does not go up or down and seriously slow plumbing drainage detract from the apartment being considered “luxury”. Hosts that clearly don't give a hoot once they have your money really is the final straw - no manners and a complete lack of interest.

Relaxing, comfortable and great location (for us!)

We have stayed here before. The apartment is lovely - clean and full of character. Based at the other end of the promenade it enabled us to walk the full length several times a day. Parking was easy. Bus stop also nearby for easy trips to Conwy and Colwyn Bay. Some nice new small bars close by and a good coop for supplies.

Great location, lovely apartment.

Great location for us near the promenade and great local shops. Jumped on the bus a few times and enjoyed the Craft bar and artisan bakery next door (yum yum). Apartment was fab - no complaints whatsoever.

Nothing! Seagull stole my hot dog near the peir but that was nothing to do with the apartment!!

Picturesque meets cozy. The owners have put a lot of love and time into this place and it shows. The communication was fast and accessible, and they're more than happy to accommodate different needs. I will be staying again when I get the chance!

It was a beautiful apartment, good decor and lovely bathroom, badly let down by the bed.

The bed was the most noisiest I have ever stayed in. Every time you moved or turned over it creaked very loudly with both of us having very poor nights sleep. More detail needed in living space, example a further table by the sofa would protect your floors from spillages. No wine glasses.

Beautiful apartment

Beautiful apartment with plenty of space and a kitchenette it you don't fancy going out for food every night. Very close to the promenade and a short walk up the street brings you to a retail park and more shops. In an ideal location, we attended with a dog and thought it was perfect!

Right near the promenade and about 25min walk to Llandudno Town centre. Lovely apartment, good space, ground floor apartment opened straight onto outside space so do could come and go easily.

Little not to like! Outdoor space is somewhat limited but enough for an early morning visit by dog. Used nearby promenade for more of a romp.

We had a lovely stay just a couple of things as mentioned but overall it was very nice.

Location was very good, bed really comfy lounge was cosy

Toilet seat was loose so moved when used, tv was temperamental not sure if it was the battery in remote. I think it needs a chest of drawers for underwear and tops. When we arrived it was very dark and raining hard so we struggled with finding the lock safe and opening it then Shen we PPE the door there was a step we weren’t expecting so I nearly slipped up. I think it would be a good idea to leave the outside light and hall light on to make it easier.

Layout, decor, modern kitchen, location, clean. Would stay again, lovely apartment.

Door handle to living room, my wife and I both trapped fingers! Could have done with a few more basic essentials - washing up sponge, handwash, shampoo conditioner in bathroom, there were two bottles but both lotions. Late check-in, 4pm.

Luxury little pad

Lovely apartment! Bed was so soft and comfortable, shower and bathroom was luxurious.....kitchen well equipped, could do with extra towels leaving , slight leak on the hall way radiator in apt,could do with a bigger wardrobe and the entrance hall to the apartments could be made more welcoming.

Sofa was rather uncomfortable, it could do with another arm chair or alternative sofa !

Trip to Wales

Lovely interior design with spacious rooms throughout, and a fully equipped kitchen. The location is great as it's just 2 minutes from the beach and it's easy to get to other locations along the coast from this base. There is a micropub, bakery and onvienice stores all within about 100m of the property.
