Bed was comfortable and facilities were very good.
Road noise was a little bit of a drawback, woke us up early. Eggs were overdone, would be nice to have runny yolks.

Friendly staff, reasonably priced and lovely location with beer garden. Comfortable bed and decent room. Very clean. Good breakfast.
Bedside lights did not work independently of each other.

Lovely building and surrounds. Lots of outdoor seating to enjoy the weather. Staff are so helpful and friendly. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. Pre-orderd breakfast, but it was fantastic. Freshly cooked with wonderful produce. A really good start to the day
Be warned despite efforts from hotel to correct the error - BOOKING.COM DESCRIPTION OF THE ROOM IS UNTRUE AS THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONING.

Lovely location, comfortable bed, good showers
Poor service - no offer to carry bag upstairs (no lift and I was obviously struggling), evening meals took 40+ mins to arrive, one meal arrived 10 mins before the rest, generally tatty round the edges, ashtrays not emptied, limited breakfast choices. Had to pre-order cooked breakfast, wrong order came both days. No attempt to mitigate extreme heat in bedroom - blinds not down, ice not offered, ineffective fan.
