Unfortunately through no fault of the property there was a delivery for the Tesco express at 6am and they wasn’t even the slightest bit quite so it was an unplanned early wake up

a good base to use. It was clean despite a little under decorated. The shower was warm and the kettle worked. the bedside lights were useful

breakfast not provided. The cost was far higher than the initial booking suggested. Unfortunately due to a blues festival there was no parking available and i had to park some distance away. My disabled partner needed to climb several stairs, and although she was told the back stairs were slightly easier the staff of the linked shop were quite angry that this entry was used. The television needed to be activated with my own amazon/netflix/ iplayer etc credentials there was no free tv at all. This seemed like a cost cutting attempt. There was little cutlery (1 teaspoon two knives and two forks and a microwave so self catering was not easy. there was a good kettle though. I was amazed to be charged 350 for two nights when I am sure the original quote was for far less. The walk in shower was on wooden blocks and the whole room gave an impression of being not quite finished. The accommodation was though adequate. Unfortunately the blues festival entailed a fair being in the car park and while not the venue's fault did mean there was a lot of noise until 23:00.
