With the Pennine Way close by and scenic routes starting right from the doorstep, it’s a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. The village itself boasts a friendly community-run shop and a welcoming, community owned, country pub. Just a short drive away, explore the charm of Wycoller Country Park (2 miles), Ball Grove nature reserve (1.5 miles), and the literary landscapes of Brontë Country, where Haworth (10 miles) offers the Brontë Parsonage Museum and cobbled streets steeped in literary history. Head east to discover Skipton – the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales – and venture further into the national park to visit Grassington (21 miles) or the stunning formations at Malham Cove (19 miles). To the west, enjoy the lush scenery of Lancashire’s Ribble Valley and the unspoilt beauty of the Forest of Bowland.

A separate WC adds convenience, while the double patio doors flood the room with light and lead to a generous patio area. A bespoke staircase with handcrafted balustrade leads upstairs where you will find two beautifully appointed bedrooms. The first offers twin beds and a modern en-suite shower room with WC, ideal for guests of all ages. The main bedroom features a plush king-size bed, a luxurious free-standing bath, a separate WC, and a romantic Juliet balcony with far-reaching views over the paddock and rolling hills beyond. On this floor is also a dedicated games room where you can enjoy a multi-game table with air hockey, pool, and table football, along with a wide selection of board games and a Wii console – perfect for relaxed evenings or family fun.


Outside, the cottage offers an exceptional space for relaxing and entertaining. A large, sun-soaked patio area featuring a quality dining set with parasol, a BBQ and a chiminea provides the perfect spot for al fresco meals or evening drinks under the stars. To the side, a grassy garden area provides even more outdoor space, complete with a romantic love rocker/swing – ideal for enjoying peaceful countryside moments.
