The Cobbles

The house is exactly like in the photos beautiful and cosy.

I had a tiny. It of difficulty accessing the lockbox at the start but that’s only because I was using the wrong code. I’d called the property owner who then informed me of the correct code

Everything was basically perfect

The rather quirky decor. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was lovely.

The absolute mess outside the house, which has obviously been there for a very long time and could have been improved by a bit of tidying up. We had children with us and there was no outside space, although there could have been a yard with some hard work to clear some of the area. Although the property was advertised as having two double beds, it would have been impossible for a couple to use the room with one three quarter bed plus a pull-out bed which locked into it, but it left zero room to move. The sofa bed in the lounge was, however, very comfortable, but it meant using the room as a bedroom, leaving just one of the downstairs rooms as a living/dining area, which was adequate for our group of 7.

The space was good, a nice, quirky property. Good size rooms, good heating. Main bedroom was a good size with nice old furniture and a large comfortable bed. Bathroom was big with a walk in shower and a stand alone bath. Good big TV in lounge and a second smaller TV in the dining room. A comfy property with some nice touches. Location was quite good for the town centre and retailers.

The property was clean to a point, but would really be better for a good deep clean. Curtains and blinds that were stained or broken or missing the pull cords was not good. Windows needed a proper clean.
