The quietness and view

Needs a tidy up in the front garden Cushions for the patio area had been left out to the rain so could not be used

The lodge was lovely and clean, very spacious for 4 of us, with an en suite in each room. Beds were very comfy. Absolutely gorgeous views with loads of places to go for a walk nearby. Even though you are nearby to the owners, we did not see them the whole weekend so still felt somewhat secluded - they left you to it which was great. Not too far from shops, a few restaurants etc so don’t have to stay in the lodge the whole time.

The hot tub isn’t covered, so can’t really use it when it’s raining. Also, not necessarily a downside but no bbq stuff, so if you plan on having a bbq bring your own stuff. Also no sugar/coffee in the kitchen, but again just so people are aware to bring all of that.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. It flew over so fast. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The home was lovely, spotlessly clean and warm. And Scott was welcoming and made sure my wife and I had everything we needed.
