Warm quite modern great location

Overall everything the location was amazing the views where gorgeous. The town was a 5 minute drive from the lodges. While we was there was seen a heron and loads of rabbits. I honestly can’t recommend these lodges enough the log burner was fantastic even though it was cold the cabin was lovely and warm. The most amazing thing was the lovely hospitality by Sharon. What you’ve done with the land is amazing it’s a must see. I’ll definitely be visiting again. Book in was easy so was checking out. And Sharon provided all the information prior to arriving so you know exactly what to expect. P.S if you get a clear sky in the night you have to look at the stars I’ve never seen so many before.

An amazing quite getaway

I don’t even know where to start, Our stay was amazing. The room was spacious, the bed was really comfortable and the views were amazing. We wasn’t in catering pod but still had a fridge, we made sandwiches and room was stocked well with coffee, tea, hot chocolate and biscuits. Loved the homely touch of slippers. There is a love cafe just a 3 min walk over the road called Hamish. We had a lovely breakfast. Will definitely be back again.

Exactly what we needed!

Very peaceful lodge, the bed was unbelievably comfortable and the views were incredible. Bathroom facilities were great, the shower was so nice. Sharon was brilliant and every little extra I asked for before going was perfectly set up and made my girlfriend's day. She loves her flowers.

Unfortunately the TV didn't work. (Not that we were particularly bothered). The wind made the lodge very loud at night but extreme weather conditions are out of your control 😂.

Lovely quiet location, outstanding cleanliness of accommodation, lovely complementary items (slippers, tea, coffee, biscuits, various body toiletries), such a zen relaxing environment with the fireplace and detached cabins, extremely comfy beds. Will definitely be returning :)

Idyllic.

Exceptional, a natural peace haven, super private, stunning views and impeccably clean n’ comfortable. The host is onsite & a fabulous cafe is the only other building within walking distance. Like stepping back in time with all modern amenities. Idyllic.

Amazing !

Everything was so clean, the pod was very cozy! Even tho we had snow it was so warm and we didn’t have to worry about getting cold. The view was amazing and watching the sunrise/sunset and all the wildlife was exceptional. I would definitely book agin

We stayed at Pendle View Pods as a treat for myself and my sister instead of a Christmas do. The pod itself was lovely and in a nice, quiet location with great views, which is what we were hoping for.

We booked thinking there was a pool and no information was given on check in or in the information pack ! So booked thinking we could use a swimming pool on site, but we were never shown where it was and couldn’t see any sign of one during our stay. This was disappointing as it influenced our decision to book. I also believed we were booking a more luxury experience, including dressing gowns and those extra finishing touches, which were advertised or implied, but these were not provided. Cleanliness. The pod was not as clean as expected, and the kettle didn’t work. We ended up boiling water in a pan instead, as we didn’t want to spend our stay raising complaints. For the price we paid, basic things like cleanliness and working appliances should be checked beforehand. Overall, while the setting and views were lovely, the experience was disappointing and didn’t feel worth the cost.

A picturesque, peaceful stay in the English countryside.

The view is spectacular and the surroundings are incredibly quiet and peaceful. The owner is lovely. We needed to rest, reset and switch off and that’s exactly what we were able to do here. A perfect little getaway for a couple and a small dog. Will absolutely be booking to stay again!

Peaceful nights stay with beautiful scenery

Beautiful location, even saw a deer across the valley in the morning. Comfortable bed and balcony would be lovely to use if you're lucky with the weather. Fridge let us bring some milk for tea/coffee. Cafe over the road but only open Thursday through Sunday I think.

Bring shoes with good grip that you don't mind getting muddy as there is a walk from where you park to the hut itself which can be a little muddy.

Beautiful scenery steps a bit steep down to the property when carrying luggage wasn’t made clear in description but as both of us quite healthy not a problem for us . Very clean and warm .

We hadn’t realised the size was going to be so small only the bed to relax on to watch TV and no space for clothes storage a bit too compact for us and a dog

Lovely off the grid space. Incredible views. Friendly staff. Dog friendly for an extra cost £10 per night. Bathroom was spacious and well stocked.

Small and compact would have been nice to have a comfier seat but I understand the lack of space.

Very special gem

This beautiful gem was nothing more than serenity and beauty. Sitting on the deck gives you the feeling you are in a tree house. There has been nothing spared in this room. The kitchen is well equipped and the slippers were so welcome as I left mine at home. It is very very special. Spotless cleaning and comfortable. Peace quiet and no children. Loved it.

Absolutely bliss and beautiful

The location was stunning! The cabin was beautiful, was a bit jealous of our neighbours as our lights didn’t work on the balcony could have got some good pics for Instagram! Overall though it was beautiful

My dog is quite the hunter and there are rabbits everywhere! So be prepared for that if you have a little hunter dog!

The location and the views of fields and a beautiful valley. The pods have everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay .Sharon ,the owner is a lovely lady ,friendly and welcoming.

Perfect Setting for a couple

This was a last minute booking from a long weekend at Blackpool. From receiving in-depth welcome email, Check in went really smooth and owner even offered earlier check in as we arrived early also Easy on-site secure parking. This accommodation is a perfect setting, overlooking a valley where you can relax and unwind. We were fortunate for the weather and had it all day till the sun went down. There is a range of pods, which slightly vary in sizes but the amenities and amount of detail that are in your pod make sure you have everything you need to make you have a wonderful and peaceful time. Thanks again Sharon for the hospitality.

Breathtaking views! Sharan was amazing host! Attentive and absolutely lovely! The pods are great, clean and look gorgeous! We will happily be driving back up from Bristol for another stay at some point!

Lovely stay but a little disappointed

The view was lovely- very scenic and lovely to get away from the hustle and bustle!

I had the pod with the sunloungers, which would have been great had it been sunny. Unfortunately it was raining but no other seating to use to sit under the veranda outside out of the rain so had to sit inside. Also the seating inside was very limited to a bench. There were quite a few very long hairs left from previous guests on the inside seating and in the bathroom on the sink cabinet. Was a little disappointed that in the kitchette there was no microwave as stated on the details, instead there was an air fryer however as it stated there was a microwave I had taken food to cook/heat in the microwave. Need to update the details of the pod as to what is in the kitchenette.

A great escape for the perfect holiday experience

Sharon was a nice lady and she gave us an excellent understanding of the neighbourhood. We stayed at Pendle and it was very clean. The view was breathtaking. I would also love to visit Valley View Lodge at another time. Honestly, it is a great place to escape from your busy schedule.

A beautiful area.

Fantastic views, clean comfortable great value for money and a great pub/ cafe just over the road which does excellent meals.

It didn't have a kitchen area that we could cook in. However this was our fault, as when we made the original booking we booked the wrong cabin. This didn't cause us any problems though and didn't affect our stay. Just something for people to double check when booking.

That the pool is not open on a sundays, But still enjoyed my stay. I'll know to book on other days now. When pool is open. I could of used it Monday am As sharon did ask me if I wanted a swim.

Amazing

The views are amazing. The overall experience was amazing. The pods and the surrounding area is relaxing. The pods are very comfortable, clean and well equipped. They are private with the only noise being the distant sheep. A short drive into the village where there are bars restaurants and cafes. 10 minute drive to barley to walk up Pendle hill. Short walk to the canal and reservoir walks. I would definitely return.
