Beautiful setting, very quiet and peaceful, actually much larger than I’d expected.
Just be cautious of chicken poop as there are free range chickens around

Recently renovated to a very high standard. With a modern cottage feel. Beautiful view across the canal and onto farmyard. High quality kitchen facilities with enough tools to cook full meals. Very clean, great lighting and a rain shower.

The location is ideal. It's next to the canal, which provides easy walking to Colne or Barrowford (incl. Booths supermarket and the Pendle Heritage Museum), or out into the wider countryside. The accommodation was comfortable. In particular, it was lovely and warm, which isn't always the case with holiday cottages. Everything we needed for self-catering was provided – cutlery, crockery, microwave etc. Good wifi and smart TV provided (log in to your own streaming accounts). Easy parking. Friendly owners. One of the best places we've rented.
