Мы прекрасно провели время в этом доме, в Унаватуна. Локация просто великолепная — дом находится среди джунглей, и по утрам птицы поют настоящим хором. Атмосфера спокойная, живая и очень аутентичная. Дом удобный, чистый и оснащён всем необходимым для комфортного проживания. Всё продумано для гостей. Хозяин невероятно гостеприимный и внимательный человек. Он встретил нас в аэропорту, помогал во всём, давал советы и угощал свежими фруктами. Мы чувствовали заботу и искреннее отношение. Всё было замечательно. Искренне рекомендую остановиться именно в этом месте в Унаватуна — это сделало наше путешествие по Шри-Ланке ещё более особенным. We had a wonderful stay at this house in Unawatuna. The location is absolutely fantastic — the house is surrounded by jungle, and every morning you wake up to a beautiful chorus of birds. The atmosphere is peaceful, vibrant, and truly authentic. The house is comfortable, clean, and fully equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay. Everything is thoughtfully prepared for guests. The host is incredibly welcoming and attentive. He met us at the airport, helped us with everything, gave useful advice, and treated us to fresh fruits. We genuinely felt cared for and warmly welcomed. Everything was perfect. I sincerely recommend staying at this place in Unawatuna — it made our trip to Sri Lanka even more special.

Someone has to be the first to take the risk. I usually never book places without reviews, but the photos, location, and description looked perfect — and they truly were. The host picked us up at Colombo airport, helped with SIM cards, told us about the area on the way, checked us in early, and recommended good restaurants. The villa is brand new, very clean, stylish, with fresh towels, hot water, and everything you need. It sits on a large piece of land with several houses owned by the host, and there’s secure space behind the gate for parking a car or scooter. The kitchen is fully equipped (kettle, coffee maker, blender, toaster, all cookware). There’s a washing machine, two big terraces, a small balcony, and a beautiful jungle view. It’s very quiet and safe here. There are two AC units, though even one was enough. On the way to the beach you often see monkeys, birds, peacocks, and squirrels — the whole area feels like real jungle. The host is incredibly kind and helpful, always available, and even organizes tours without pushing shops or commissions. Fast Wi-Fi was a big bonus too. One of the best stays we’ve had in Sri Lanka.

This is additional info to my first review — I decided to stay one more day and wanted to share a bit more. The villa has two floors, and the upper floor feels like its own cozy space, with a bed, warm lighting, and a small balcony. In the evenings it’s very romantic, and in the mornings it’s perfect for relaxing with a jungle view. The whole area is peaceful, cooler than the beach, and you often see monkeys, birds, and peacocks around. The host’s garden has plenty of fruit, and he even picked some for us. His wife runs a small food spot nearby — definitely try the shrimp shawarma, it’s unbelievably good. The host lives close by and is always ready to help. He drove us to beaches, viewpoints, and temples, helped with tickets, and never pushed shops or “commission” places — only honest tips and great stories. The internet was fast and stable, which is rare here and perfect for working online. A wonderful stay overall — happy I extended it.
