A flawless Cotswolds stay - authentic, cozy, beautifully kept, perfectly located, and hosted with exceptional care.
Everything. This cottage is exactly what you hope for when you imagine staying in the Cotswolds- authentic, historic, and full of character, yet impeccably clean and thoughtfully maintained. The quirks, the old stairs, and the intimate layout are not flaws; they are the soul of the place. The location in the heart of Burford is exceptional, walkable, and picturesque, especially over Christmas. The host was outstanding - responsive, attentive, and genuinely helpful, even during the holiday, addressing the smallest questions with care.
Nothing at all. Anyone booking should understand that this is a historic cottage, and the very features others might hesitate over are precisely what make it special. We loved the stairs, the layout, and every bit of its old-world charm.
