Lovely Garden Flat in Central Bath with Private Parking

Location was good and the parking was good especially with it’s location

It’s very tired and needs some updating carpets were dirty and the bathroom floor was soaked due to the shower leaking and remained like it during our stay Both carpets runners were lose and carpet frayed so is a trap hazard this needs to be addressed quickly please if possible as caught my foot on it Under the kitchen sink was wet and unclean Courtyard could be so much better dirty just a sweep up could improve it A lot of noise from the flat above so waken a few times Could be such a good flat if some updates were made

Convenience, the bedroom was comfortable, the layout fine with enough space for storage. Location was good and a parking space was invaluable. If the suggested changes could be made to the comments made below it could be a much more premium property

We couldn’t get the lounge warm with draughty windows, and that led to increased traffic noise while using the lounge. The curtains were thin and not floor length which didn’t help with the draughts. Some of the furniture was tired, particularly one of the sofa’s, dining chairs and table. For the addition of a couple more lamps in the lounge and a shade for the main light the ambience would improve dramatically. In the kitchen, some more cutlery and a couple of new pans would help. That said, for our own reasons we had to cook each evening meal at the property so spent more time in there than most guests probably would, so our comments should be taken in that context.

The first 2 nights were fine but we then had people in the apartment above and this proved to be very noisy There was a shortage of cooking pans in kitchen Outside seating area not in a good condition. The apartment was very cold. Blinds are needed in kitchen as it feels very exposed.
