Lovely Georgian Loft in The Very Centre of Bath

Roomy, good location.

We have to take 3 flights of stairs. My husband has severe knees arthritis and I was on my 3rd day of respiratory viral infection. But it was my fault not paying attention that was a loft. The towel drier didn't warm up and I saw that dust accumulated on the bars.

The property was lovely, very spacious, in a great location, with wonderful views of Bath, close to many restaurants and bars. Although the apartment was a little weathered it has a nice charm to it, it was clean, tidy and homely. The best part of the stay was the views and location, I really enjoyed being able to look over the whole of bath. this apartment is in the attic so there are 3 flights of stairs however this was not an issue for me and I actually liked being higher up as this lead to some amazing views! The bed and sofa were comfortable, I did not use the kitchen but it had all facilities you could desire, the shower had good water pressure and the addition of giant bottles of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel were great and smelt amazing, these were good little touches. The owners were very responsive and helpful. overall I enjoyed my stay.

The only issues I had was the TV was a little outdated however I only watched TV on the evening so it was not a bother, the light switch didn't work in the Bathroom but I managed without. Its worth bearing in mind this is a Georgian house with single pane windows, there will be noise, this was not a bother for me but maybe to some. If I were to suggest anything, a Welcome sheet would have been good, with a little welcome note and a guide for where things are and any house rules, information on the garden and information about the bin situation etc, however the owners were very response and were happy to answer any questions. overall the positive outweighed any small issues.

Location on the edge of town - only a 5 minute walk into the centre. Fantastic views, quiet and clean. Large superking size bed in main bedroom is comfortable.

It's definitely not for you if you have any mobility issues at all. It really is a loft - several flights of stairs on entering and very steep stairs to the apartment. Shower is over bath and it's quite a high step in. Flat is roomy and warm but very tired and quite basic - shower whistles, windows are quite rattly, carpets could use a clean
