We were absolutely amazed! From the first moments of warm welcome by a nice smiling lady at the reception (“hispanohablante” 🙂 - gracias por todos los consejos y abrazos), a lovely room on the 3rd floor with a picturesque Dachstein view, delicious meals in the cozy restaurant and the staff making you feel easy and comfortable. Beautiful and tasteful Easter decoration.
Many thanks to the lady owner, always stylish and elegant, creating a pleasant atmosphere all around, having a nice word and smile for everyone, both the guests and the staff who must love to be working in such an ambuence.

The best feature of this hotel are the walking distance to Planai lift and the fact that it's new. Other than that, it's an average, to less than average hotel, with services of lower than average quality and higher then average price considering it's location and overall services. Some features of this hotel are fine, but I can only recommend visiting this place under 2 conditions: 1. You speak German, 2. You have lower expectations than in comparable hotels in Schladming, or Austria in general.
First of all, let's talk about the language barrier. Half of the staff don't speak any English, the rest refuses to do so unless you literally remind them multiple times during your 1-week stay that you DON'T understand a single word of what they say. Yes, I've experienced French-style pride before, but not in Austria. Regarding cleanliness, 2 room cleanings in 5 days with literally no options for the guest to dry their skiing clothes... Well... Less than expected... The rooms are new, however they lack certain features expected from even lower starred hotels. "Private bathroom" in your room is a myth - you won't find neither the bath (not expected), but nor the ROOM. You have a sink in the middle of the room, which has close to no storage space, and then the shower, which has clear glass door (absolutely no privacy - not suitable for families). The "no privacy" idea continues with the balcony, from which you can see into other nearby rooms (and at the same time the inside of your room is visible from theirs). In a 4* hotel you'd expect a close to total blackout curtain, which is sort of there, except for the top window, which is on one hand stylish, but on the other hand has no curtain at all, so there's literally no way to block daylight in your room. The air conditioning/heating in the room has a few settings, which are as follows: Useless, useless and loud, useless and unbearably loud... It's essentially volume control, without any other effect. The pool and resting area is nicely built, but the pool should be at least 5 degrees warmer if you expect to enjoy it in winter... Lastly the restaurant: Breakfasts are fine unless you order their super burnt omelette... Done it once, extremely regretted it... The rest is quite fine, less choice than expected, but still sufficient...
