Kardi Villa Ubud 2 Bed Room

The villa itself is very nice, recently build (but missing maintenance), with modern/traditional balinais furnitures and good quality of linen and towels. Both rooms and bathrooms are large with a pool view. The pool is very nice as well. Location is not the best ubud but still good as you need at least 30 min to walk to center Ubud or 10 min by grab ($4). It is on the way to rice terraces and well know restaurant such as TIS.

Couple of issues that can be improved: Breakfast: nothing to do with pictures as a lady will come in the morning to cook 2 eggs the way you want with one toast only and one choice of tea, coffee or juice. We have asked for extra toast and the host wanted to charge for it, that we fou found pretty cheap. Maintenance: the rooms and bathrooms need a deep cleaning and bedrooms wall a fresh painting. One big issue with the doors of both bedrooms: even when we close them by key, there is still a space of 2 fingers that allow insects, lizards, and other small animals to enter. Our last night, we found 1 black lizard, 2 huge spiders and a frog in our room; I tried to contact the host by phone and WhatsApp but he never responded. One last issue is that the light on one of the bathrooms was not working. A technician came the next day to fix them, but it could have been done the day before, especially that we have checked in at 10:30 PM. Finally, the host needs to make sure that basic stuff are available at the villa such as small towels, toilet paper, tissues are available. The villa is nice but it would great if the management is paying attention to these details.

A stunning property with an amazing pool and gorgeous bedrooms. Very relaxing and amazing value for money. The cooked breakfast to order was a nice touch.

The Villa isn't listed in Grab which made ordering a taxi a bit cumbersome.
