beautiful accommodation, bad service
The accommodation was very nice and spacious, with a beautiful swimming pool. The villa is located about a 30-minute walk from the city centre and is on a street with many supermarkets, breakfast options and massage services.
We did not really feel welcome, as we had to ask the host every day for even the smallest things, whether it was a towel or other basic items, such as toilet paper ( we were 3 ppl), which we practically had to fight for daily. We had booked several other accommodation, where the service was impeccable, but in this place the host left a very stingy impression. I cannot genuinely recommend this accommodation and I would advise future guests that if they book this place, they should bring their own essential items and supplies in their luggage, starting from the toilet paper.

A wonderful place to relax and unwind.
The house is a beautiful historic Balinese villa, very tastefully furnished and plenty of space. The pool and garden were beautiful for relaxing. The location is brilliant- so peaceful yet close to many good cafes and restaurants. Very easy to get a Grab taxi if you want to explore the hectic centre of Ubud. The host was very welcoming and helpful; we used their laundry service and also got help with airport transfer. Lovely resident cat who enjoyed chatting to us during our stay 😉. Would highly recommend.
It was very hot during our stay, the property had aircon thankfully but perhaps could have been cooler.

The walk to ubud center is about 20 minutes on a narrow road without sidewalks.
