La Dimora del Porto

Abbiamo soggiornato a La Dimora del Porto prima della partenza della nostra crociera. L’appartamento è spazioso, pulito e ben organizzato, e la posizione è sicuramente uno dei suoi punti di forza: è centrale e comoda per raggiungere il porto, oltre ad avere diversi ristoranti e servizi nelle vicinanze. Nel complesso è una buona struttura, soprattutto per la posizione e gli spazi,

L’unico grande inconveniente, a nostro avviso, è la mancanza dell’ascensore. L’appartamento si trova al secondo piano e le scale sono piuttosto scomode, soprattutto per chi arriva con valigie pesanti. Nel nostro caso, con quattro valigie grandi, salire e scendere è stato davvero faticoso. Inoltre, abbiamo trovato l’illuminazione interna un po’ debole. Sarebbe utile sostituire alcune lampadine con lampadine più potenti, soprattutto nelle zone principali dell’appartamento.

The property itself was lovely, clean, and as described. Unfortunately, our experience was let down by the lack of communication and assistance from the owner. There were five of us staying, and unfortunately none of us were able to have a shower because we couldn’t get the hot water/shower to work. We never met the owner or had anyone show us how the shower or other facilities worked. I messaged the owner to ask for help, and he explained what to do. We followed the instructions but it still wasn’t working. When I let him know, he said he didn’t understand the issue and asked me to send a video. As we had to leave early the following morning, we never had the opportunity to resolve the issue and unfortunately had to leave without being able to shower. Two cleaners came into the property at one point and left something in the utility area, but apart from that, we didn’t see anyone during our stay. We received the keys from a black box and were simply told to leave them on the table when checking out. Overall, we found it quite unusual that we never met the owner or had anyone explain how things worked at the property, particularly when we were having an issue with the shower. The property itself was lovely and clean, but better communication and some guidance on arrival would have made a big difference to our stay.
