Nestled between the village of Kingswear and the harbour town of Brixham, View Cottage is a beautifully appointed, three-storey, three-bedroom holiday home offering comfort, style, and stunning views over rolling Devon farmland and the sea beyond.. 1 step to entrance.

Second Floor:
Bedroom 3: Kingsize (5ft) Bed, Smart TV Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Electric heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. Front garden with sitting-out area. Enclosed rear garden with sitting-out area. Electric vehicle charging point. Private parking for 2 cars. Garage parking for 1 car/boat (£25). Please note: No smoking or Pets.. View Cottage is approached via security coded, gated access which leads into the parking area for two cars (parked side by side). Upon entering the property through the pleasant enclosed rear garden with comfortable outdoor seating . On entering the house, you will find yourself on the ground floor where two of the bedrooms are located; the kingsize bedroom benefits from two sets of double doors looking out onto the rear garden. A twin bedroom and the family bathroom are also on the ground floor. The open plan living space is located on the first floor; the kitchen is fully equipped with all you could need to rustle up a meal, and there is dining seating, a corner sofa and a 55” Smart TV. This is a lovely social area to relax in at the end of a long day, and enjoys lovely views over the rolling countryside to the front. On the second floor is the large master bedroom with a kingsize bed and an en-suite shower room.
There are lovely areas to sit out in both the landscaped rear garden and at the front of the property, which has arbour seating where the evening sun can be enjoyed. There is also stunning views of the open farmland opposite the property and amazing sea views from the first and second floors.
View Cottage is perfectly placed for exploring the best of South Devon and Torbay.
Kingswear & Dartmouth – Hop on the foot or car ferry from Kingswear for a few minutes’ crossing to historic Dartmouth, with its harbourside shops, restaurants and the Royal Naval College. Dartmouth also runs a packed events calendar, including the Dart Music Festival (mid-May), the spectacular Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta (late August, the town’s biggest event of the year, with sailing, rowing, live music and fireworks), the Dartmouth Book Festival (mid-September), and the renowned Dartmouth Food Festival (late October).
Brixham – A short drive or bus ride away, Brixham’s working harbour is home to the Golden Hind replica and a great choice of seafood restaurants. Don’t miss the famous Brixham Pirate Festival, which takes over the harbour each year during the early May Bank Holiday weekend, with live music, pirate battles, cannon displays and family entertainment. Torbay & Paignton – The English Riviera Airshow (formerly the Torbay Airshow) takes place on Paignton seafront over the late May Bank Holiday weekend, with the RAF Red Arrows, Typhoon displays and a full seafront event village — one of the UK’s biggest free airshows. Beaches & Attractions – Broadsands Beach is a short drive away, along with the Dartmouth Steam Railway and the popular Splashdown Water Park at Quay West. Nature and history lovers will enjoy the nearby National Trust properties Coleton Fishacre and Greenway, the former home of Agatha Christie.
Tip: book early for the Brixham Pirate Festival (early May Bank Holiday), English Riviera Airshow (late May Bank Holiday), and Dartmouth Royal Regatta (late August), these are among the busiest weekends in the region.

I loved my stay at View Cottage. The cottage is beautiful and so well equipped. It was so comfortable and in a perfect location to explore the English Riveria. There was a welcome basket - everything needed for a lovely cup of tea! We didn't want to leave and will be booking to visit again.
