Sitting looking out of the bedroom Juliet balcony was just fantastic.

Property was all as described and had a fantastic view.

All was good. Anything that was not was very minor and was irrelevant given the fantastic view.

Don't bother

View was stunning

Need to book for any restaurant in advance. OUTDOORS Pictures misrepresented site. All of us thought patio overlooking view was at back of house, and parking would be at front. Not the case FORTY FOUR unsafe steps to front door. Unsafe for anyone with respiratory or mobility issues Parking space not adequate for family sized car Information that road might not be suitable for larger car not provided until morning of travel. (Car unavoidably damaged several times) INDOORS Heating on a timer. Went off in the day. Log burner DISPLAY ONLY Doors difficult to open TWO TVs. NEITHER WORKED FOR 5 DAYS. One never worked. Contacting the agent was horrendous. Emails didn't accept replies and the phone didn't take texts. Plug sockets sited in skirting boards. Unable to plug phones/tablets in without an extension cable. We all had to sit together Beds and ESPECIALLY pillows were uncomfortable Drawers wouldn't open. Several were broken Wardrobe was minute in attic room and doors didn't close I think this property is GROSSLY overpriced

Spectacular views, in a clean comfortable home.

The views were absolutely fantastic along with the ideal location to the town centre making everything easily accessible.

The issue of parking is a problem within Dartmouth. With the property sleeping 6, many like ourselves would have 2 cars. However the property only has space for 1 car. I would recommend the property offer a parking permit for Mayors Avenue.

Views were amazing from the house. House was well equipped.

For us the walk into town was tough due to the location and the amount of steps. (but of course this gave us the views).

Some of the decor was a bit tired. Some of the ceilings had boards on maybe from a leak! The back garden was a work in progress. There were no hooks to hang towels and clothes in the bathrooms.

Good family accommodation with amazing views.

Location and elevated views were exceptional . With that came the steps down to town and back up, which was good for our fitness. Grateful for the parking space despite being tight but we knew this from a previous review so were prepared. House was comfortable and warm, practical and everything provided for a self sufficient holiday stay.

There were some personalised touches to the property which made it homely. Good curtains for quality sleep, mattress was reasonably comfortable but surprisingly there were cheap bed side lamps which if upgraded would raise the level of visual comfort. The lounge furniture also looked a bit tired ditto shower cubicle which would benefit from an upgrade in the future for cleanliness etc. We did still thoroughly enjoy our stay and think this property would be ideally suited for family with children. For us just on a pure personal level we prefer a bit more lux.

Beautiful views, a proper escape.

Amazing views (without the scaffolding from next door that we were still half expecting, work is done, and neighbours were also lovely). Helpful people managing property too. We booked at short notice, and I was worried about location up steps, but it wasn’t too bad at all, near to all the restaurants and shops, and well worth it for the quiet, and the views of course! Oh and parking was right at front of house too.

Nothing, apart from I forgot there’d be steep steps up to the front door too, but we travelled light.

Great house with some (temporary) drawbacks.

Amazing views, all day every day. Lovely, comfortable accommodation.

Difficult to get to in the car: the road was promoted and my car got stuck on a steep part and became damaged. There was building work going on in the front of the next door property all day and it made it difficult to sit out as the work was directly adjacent to the sitting area.

location is excellent

accessibility difficult for older or infirm people especially with builders scaffolding on access stairs builders working next door and view impaired by scaffolding - we would not have booked it had we known car access very difficult especially for larger cars - rentors should be warned

Amazing location

Outstanding views and location. Good space for a family. Master bedroom has beautiful views from the bay window.

No blackout curtains on the top floor room. Poor quality bedding, dripping shower in en-suite.
