Everything was fine and as expected. We had to wait for 45 minutes at 6pm for our room to be cleaned/ready and we were one of around 5 people this happened to. We opted for king bed versus 3 queens

New hotel with large and nicely designed rooms. Comfortable bed (with unusually good pillows) and blackout curtains made for a good night's sleep. Breakfast was definitely above average for this class of hotel, but still not as good as the average was pre-COVID. My only major complaint was the shower: the water pressure in our 4th floor shower was terrible, almost unusable, and the shampoo and conditioner bottles were both completely empty.

Kitchen was missing a few sets of dishes. Items in dishwasher was still dirty. Overall, the room was clean and comfortable otherwise. Breakfast was disappointing as was very understocked with limited choices.

We stayed for a night to move our son into Purdue. We have stayed there in the past and had a great stay. This time, not so much. Was given an ADA room, which we did not request but was told that because we booked through a third party you get what’s left? The room was big, but the TV in the bedroom did not work. The woman working the desk attempted to fix it but was unable to. The maintenance person would not be able to fix it until the next day. That did us no good because we left the next morning. The water in shower leaked ALL over the floor from the ADA shower. We had to use 3 towels to clean it all up. Also upon arrival the hallway smelled so bad as if someone was cooking in their room. I have to say we were quite disappointed this stay.

We checked out after the 6th night of a 7-night reservation and asked for a refund for the unused night. The manager denied it, citing that “the hotel was sold out.” That makes zero sense — a sold-out hotel benefits from an extra room suddenly becoming available. It’s baffling that this was used as a reason not to issue a refund. Even more frustrating was the manager’s tone. Instead of recognizing that we've stayed at another Hilton hotel for many weeks earlier this year, as we pointed out to her, she dismissed my loyalty with a snide comment about my being a member “only since last year.” Completely uncalled for and incredibly rude. It’s clear this hotel values rigid policies and condescension over logic and guest loyalty. A disappointing and off-putting experience. Frequent travelers, take note — there are better-managed options out there.
