The location, as many reviewers have mentioned, is outstanding. The pedestrianized street just uphill from the apartment has good restaurants, wine bars, and Greek bakeries. It is also a shortcut into the shopping heart of Corfu. Downhill from the apartment are solid coffee bars and a large park with big views.
The property is in a narrow alley-like street. The windows have screens which are likely good for keeping out mosquitoes but they also mean you can’t open the shutters. An array of excellent LED lights are useful in lighting up the interior so it’s not dark but I, being from the western USA, missed natural light. Overall, I would consider renting the apartment again as it is a good value for the location but I’d also look at other options.
