The location and the outside area which is rare in Corfu town
It could do with a little updating however it was perfectly fine and the photos are a true reflection of the property

There is really a lot to love about this property. Firstly the contact with the property manager was probably the best and most responsive communication we have had in many years travelling overseas. We made a couple of suggestions for improvements and they were attended to the very next day. The manager allowed us to access the property as early as they could. They booked a taxi to take us to the airport when we departed. They inquired whether we needed anything more.
But the property itself is really great. It is right on the edge of the old town and only takes a few minutes to walk to the historic town hall (which is pretty much at the heart of the old town). There are numerous restaurants within 3-5 minutes walk. But they are far enough away so that you don’t hear any noise or disturbance. The property was quiet and peaceful, both day and night. The kitchen is small but adequate (we did not cook). The shower was good and the manager installed a new (longer) shower curtain while we were there. The wash g machine worked really well and there is a large drying rack which you can move around the courtyard to get the best drying position. There are insect screens on all the windows which lift up and down. Some previous travellers have mentioned the mosquitoes. Yes mosquitoes are all over Corfu old town because it is right next to the water. If you make sure the fly screens are down in the afternoon and night you should not have any problem. We did not sit outside I must admit as we were simply too busy being tourists. We thought it was a great location and good value for money.
