Τhe Hidden Garden

We loved the location and proximity to old town. It was also fine to walk to and from ferry terminal with luggage (NB. we enjoy walking & were on a tight budget) Everything was as advertised and we were very thankful to have a washing machine (main reason for booking) and clothes airers. The space is like someone’s house, so many little, thoughtful extras are included. It was lovely to sit outside on the verandah with a cold drink! Evelina’s pre-trip communication was excellent. She met us at the property and had the air-conditioner going so it was nice and cool (lovely after a hot, sweaty walk!).

The bed was not to our liking, the mattress was too hard for our personal taste and a bit too small for the two of us. The pillows were too flat for our taste also. The sheets need to be a size bigger so that they do not untuck (bottom sheet) and cover both people (top sheet). We did not sleep well, unfortunately, but a few minor changes can make a difference for others. We experienced radio silence on our last day… waiting for a bottle opener that was promised and didn’t show. Someone forgot to drop it off - no problem at all - just be courteous and say so - we were very surprised to be ghosted!

Very good location in the Old City, nice host - very helpful! Clean and good size appartment.

Great location close to old town with lovely garden and well equipped flat . Helpful and responsive

Noise from flat above.... just walking around but noisy, no insulation between floors
