New Open "Upside Down-Shibuya"

Upside-Down Shibuya was an amazing brand new accommodation! We were blown away by the thought behind every part of this apartment. The host was extremely welcoming and even stayed up past midnight to greet us, even though the is a key code. He is the owner and architect of the space and provides rare insight into the space. This is THE NICEST apartment I have stayed in for my travels. For Tokyo, it's one of the rare places that can sleep a group of 4. The location is just minutes away from the major Shibuya station and on the quiet side of Shibuya where all the really nice small batch clothing shops are. Plenty of great food spots around as well. We will be back!

Literally perfect!

Small but very well planned. This space is extremely well designed. Quiet in a very nice neighborhood with walking distance to Shibuya. Tomo is the nicest of hosts and has given a lot of thought and love to this home away from home. Strongly recommend!

Second time staying at the Upside down house! We absolutely loved our stay again and are already looking forward to coming back. Excellent location, more than comfortable stay, and very thoughtful and responsive hosts.

Great stay with our 4 year old in the "Brooklyn" of Tokyo! Communication was fantastic, great shower, comfy beds and unbeatable location. Tomoko San is a wonderful host who is clear, communicative and very helpful. The location is surrounded by amazing food and great shops not to mention 10 minute walk to shibuya station. The space itself is beautiful. We loved how thoughtful the design was, with a huge emphasis on sustainability. We are looking forward to returning very soon.
