The flat was very clean, bright and nicely furnished. It was quiet at night and we slept well in comfortable beds. There was a large bathroom with a washing machine, and the kitchen had a dishwasher. The host, Gianluca, is very friendly and responded to all our queries quickly and kindly. We were greeted by a basket of fresh fruit and some lovely drinks that the host had left for us in the kitchen – it was much appreciated. There’s a grocery shop nearby, and a larger shopping centre a few minutes’ walk away with a very well-stocked supermarket. You can easily get to the city centre on tram 1 or 14. I can really recommend this accommodation. We visited Milan to see an exhibition by Anselm Kiefer and to view Leonardo da Vinci’s painting *The Last Supper*. As well as that, we went shopping, explored the city and took a canal boat trip. We enjoyed the view of the city from the roof of Il Duomo, and savoured some delicious food and drink. After a long haul flight from Australia it was a fantastic place to stay. We couldn’t have wished for a more clean and comfortable apartment! So clean, everything we needed, very quiet, tram ride to the city with tram stop 5 min walk away, supermarket 50 m away. Gianluca was incredibly helpful! Highly recommend!
