Nice room. Plenty space. V good. I'd stay again.

Little bit hard to find.

The accommodation was very spacious for a party of 2. My favourite spot is the rooftop balcony which is privately accessible from our room and it overlooks the part of the city and the sunset. I wish that the weather was cooler (as there was a heat wave during our visit) and I would have spent much more time in the balcony. The team made our check in was super easy even though we arrived after the designated check-in time. They also provided very clear instructions on how to access the building. Our room was accessible by a lift – note that there are still some a short flight of stairs that you have to use – we were at room 31. The location was an easy walk from two tram lines and a metro line – these were the only mode of transport we used. Special mention to Luca and the team in Residence 2Gi when I have left some items in the apartment after check out. They were kind enough to ship out the items via Post from Milan to France. They really helped me by provided clear instructions on how I could do this and went out of their way to drop it off to a collection point. I cannot thank them enough for what they have done for us.

The aircon unit frequently tripped during the night and we had to reset the electrical circuit breaker in the fuse box.

Really nice building, easy parking on the street outside, easy to find. Staff were helpful and really nice. The room/apartment was very big open space. They gave us a basket full of snacks, and drinks. Easy to get into the centre

I think we needed to turn the boiler on to have hot water, would be nice to be told that before

Large, clean room. Fast, dependable internet. Polite staff. Refrigerator, microwave oven and washing machine were all in good working order. Location close to two commuter rail stations (10 minute walk to Villapizzone; 20 minute walk to Bovisa-Politecnico). Reasonably priced. Primarily a residential neighborhood that looks worse than it is because of the age of the surrounding buildings. Most important of all, as the temperature in Milan approached 95 degrees Fahrenheit, 35 degrees Celsius, you could control your own room temperature and the air conditioning worked perfectly.

1. The pipe bringing hot water into the shower was scalding hot. The shower is so tiny that even a small person like me could occasionally come in contact with the very hot pipe. The risk of a burn is a serious safety issue that must be addressed. 2. The location was acceptable to me because of the proximity to the commuter rail stations, Those seeking to visit the sites of Central Milan might not be happy with the 40 minute public transit commutes. 3. The room overlooks the street. Fast cars and scooters speed by during the night and there is insufficient noise insulation. I was able to sleep through the noise. Light sleepers may find it unsatisfactory. 4. The Esselunga market, which is a 10 minute walk from the residence, is small and has limited choices. To find a better selection of fresh and cooked food, you need to visit the Esselunga Superstore in Certosa. That is 15 minutes away, but requires a trip on public transit.
