New Build cosy one bedroom - CDF

The apartment was new and I think we may have been one of the first ones to stay in it. Value for money was good and the apartment was really spacious and furnished lovely and to a really good standard. The apartment was very clean and although we barely even went in the kitchen it seemed to have most things in there that you'd need with a cute little sitting area. A few practical and functional elements unfortunately means I couldn't give an excellent review.

The finishing touches weren't there, two tvs on the wall but no WiFi in the apartment and no aerial makes them pointless, no light bulbs in the bedside lamps, no curtain or blind on the bedroom window. (Luckily we were two floors up) but still made us feel uneasy! Only one mirror in the apartment, maybe one could be added in the bathroom. No toilet paper provided, one to start would have been handy but there are shops opposite so it just meant we had to go straight out. No parking anywhere near which is beyond the hosts control but would be good to state this. The apartment smelt of weed, which we suspected from neighbouring properties. It had all the basics but everything else would need to be brought, iron hairdryer etc, could be worth stating this on guest info as I asked about an iron prior to visit and didn't get an answer. It was a little difficult to get hold of the host, I called and emailed during my stay in relation to something else but haven't heard back even now. The apartment was easy to find and clear instructions from the host on how to find it (location isn't the best) but with a few minor improvements, it could be a good find if you're not fussed where you are.
