Disappointing experience
Most kitchenware stuff were provided. Decent decoration - although not as shown in the pictures, lacking plants etc to add colour. Our experience wasn’t great unfortunately. I did appreciate the Croatian agent (sorry missing the name). He was very responsive when trying to contact him and apologised for what had happened and tried to help - I did think that he was sincere. The place itself has potential to be cozy and amazing.
Unfortunately, our stay at this apartment didn’t meet expectations. We arrived in Cardiff during a heatwave and, while the property didn’t list air conditioning, we felt the challenge we faced should have been anticipated, especially considering the apartment is on the 4th floor which obviously becomes extremely hot. We paid over £800 for 3 nights, and the experience was disappointing from the moment we walked in due to how unbearably warm it was.
No fans or air coolers were provided. I contacted the agent right away and, while he was responsive and promised to send someone with fans, only a single small desk fan was delivered later that day — for a two-bedroom apartment housing four adults. The excuse we were given was that the stores had ran out of these appliances (and other fans would be brought to us the day after), but we strongly feel these should have been available in the apartment to begin with. I even offered to order fans myself (the only ones I could find for same-day delivery) and asked to be reimbursed, but the owner declined due to their price. At that point, we seriously considered leaving early, which I communicated, but of course, that would have meant losing our payment. We barely slept the first night. On the second day, two more fans were indeed delivered (likely from the owner’s own home), which did help somewhat, but I guess our experience had already been ruined.
Beyond the heat issue, several other things contributed to an overall disappointing stay. Only one roll of toilet paper was left for four guests over three nights. The agent explained where to get more from when i asked him, but this really should have been provided. The bathroom door had no handle (?!), which compromised privacy and basic function. The living room light barely worked, and there were peeling walls throughout — hopefully not due to mould.

beautiful property and secure. close walk to the centre and shops.
Some of the glasses were slightly dirty and there was no dish soap to wash them. when we arrived the cooker was smashed.
