Basic but comfy accommodation just a short walk from the city centre.

Comfortable house in a residential area. Location was great, 10 mins walk into the city centre. Off-road, driveway parking was a bonus. Check in and out was very simple and easy.

The living area only had a small sofa and an armchair. Another chair or bigger sofa would’ve been more accommodating for groups of four or more. We are a family of 5 and there just wasn’t enough seating really for us all, but we didn’t really spend much time in the house so it didn’t bother us too much.

Easy to find, easy to park. Keys in locked box Perfect location for visiting both Cardiff Bay and City Centre, whilst we were visiting my son at University with the family.

Could have done with more than 3 mugs! Double bed in the second bedroom is quite firm

Ok but could be better.

Comfy bed, location

The heating came on at random times. In the middle of the night on some days. And then when heating was needed in the evening it didn’t come on and the house was cold. There was an electric heater but it was very noisy. The cutlery, cups, plates etc needed washing before use as it’s was all not clean. The towels were nice and white but too small. The lamp in the living room didn’t work.

Nice house in good location just lacking a few basic things

Great location in quiet road. Well proportioned rooms

Windows hard to open, need replacing. Could do with some more additional basics eg oven gloves and a vacuum cleaner. Not enough sofas/arm chairs for the people who can stay there, 3 main chairs but house is for 5 people.

I had a lovely stay with close friends and family and would visit Cardiff City again.

The house is in a great location for sightseeing in the City and in the Bay. It was tidy and ready for our arrival. A few things (not urgent) that could improve the house would be a blind in the kitchen window as the house is in a residential area. The garden at the back coud be tidied up so as to give the property a feeling that it is cared for.

I have already mentioned what could be improved. There was nothing to dislike about the property as it served our purpose for sight seeing in Cardiff.

Cardiff snug

Comfortable beds, clean, well-equipped. 1km easy walk into town.

Ideally, I would replace the pillows and the settee, but it is perfectly adequate as a base when visiting family and friends in the locality. We do long haul travel, so we need a bit more comfort and space.

An enjoyable home from home stay; and would stay again!

Spacious, Comfortable, Good Shower and adequate storage in each bedroom.

Only thing I personally didn’t like was the lack of privacy when curtains were open, maybe some net curtains would allow the light in with passers by and neighbours by able to see in

Lovely spacious house and host were very reasonable and allowed us to have a later check out so we could be ready for a long drive back to London

No lighting at top of stairs and main light in one of the double rooms is very low; only other thing was a slight smell from the fridge.

Cosy house. Nice quiet area and ideally situated for the city centre and Utilita arena. Communication with owners was excellent and found them very helpful.

Ideal alternative to same old hotel rooms

This property suited our needs perfectly, the location was close to Cardiff City Centre and free parking was a bonus.

The back garden was overgrown and could’ve benefited from some upkeep.

Good location from the city centre and also Cardiff Bay. Great House, very clean.

My only negative would be 1 more comfy chair in the living room, 1 of us had to use a folding chair when watching a movie.

There is a street lamp outside the front bedroom window. A blind to keep out the light might be a good idea. Also couldn’t find a bread knife or untensils to use with the frying pan.

Excellent, English feel, cosy home. Facilities up to mark, and utensils readily available. Great location!

House in Cardiff

Location was excellent, walking distance to the town centre as well as Mermaid Quay. Lovely spacious accommodation perfect for a family of four. Check-in was via a lockbox which was very convenient. Overall clean and and comfortable accommodation with everything on your doorstep, thoroughly recommend.

Great location, tired surroundings

Location between the Bay and the City Parking space Three comfortable bedrooms - ideal for three tires ultra runners. Loads of towels! Well kitted out kitchen.

A little but shabby . Weedy out front (and all the surrounding houses!) Toilet flush variably didn’t work Edge of shower floor had fallen off Broken window in front bedroom. Broken window handle in back room.
