Beautiful two Bedroom house Entire house

The tower fan was amazing as it was such a hot day. The reclining sofas was just what we needed after a long drive. It was also so quiet. Saturday you expect people coming home after a drink etc but nothing it really was quiet. The birds made the most noise 🤣. We walked to the Old Red Lion approx 8 min walk and the food was lovely, plenty of it and there was live music on too. There was milk and water in the fridge when we arrived. I was pleasantly suprised. Would recommend.

The location was ideal for the purpose of our visit to the area.

Not enough spare towels or pillows and no WiFi.

The house was in a neighborhood and very quiet. The heating worked exceptionally well downstairs . The kitchen was well stocked with equipment. The shower was clean and efficient with plenty of hot water. The floors were clean and in good repair. The washing machine worked perfectly and there was a place to air dry clothes. The upstairs bathroom was in nice condition with a couple of issues (see below). The living room was comfortable and the TV worked well. Parking was always available. It was a short drive to supermarkets and shopping.

The whole home could do with an upgrade. The walls had scuff marks throughout. There was no hairdryer or scissors. The kitchen cabinets were old. The downstairs toilet was extremely compact with nowhere to wash your hands after using. There was no toilet roll holder in the upstairs bathroom. There were limited places to hang wet towels. Anyone staying there probably would need a car as public transportation was not obvious. The radiators needed bleeding as they banged noisily when the heating was on and didn’t work well upstairs, although that wasn’t a problem for me as I prefer a cooler bedroom but the noise woke me up. The central heating control was difficult to comprehend, especially for a non native. I would have recycled but I did not know how to as I do not live in this country and it wasn’t obvious what could be recycled and how to do it. The back yard was not appealing to look at or enticing to use.
