Modern 2BR Apartment with Free Parking Sleeps 8 Walk to Old Trafford

Great location and secure parking. Staff were helpful and prompt to respond

The apartment was dirty, cold with stained sheets and a filthy greasy oven. Broken toilet seat, door handle and curtain rail. The smoke alarm wasn't working. However, as already discussed with the owners, once this property is given a deep clean and some maintenance, it could be transformed into a lovely apartment, where we would happily stay. We were moved into another apartment and Alphi was really helpful.

Where do I begin…. Stayed here with my parents after several visits to Manchester for a night. Before I go any further, I am not one to moan for the sake of it or give unfair reflections but this ruined what was a great day and something we can afford to do just once a year as it’s not a cheap break. First off paid £175 for a night. Not a problem, our choice. Got to the location, which is good by the way and into a secure parking area. This however, is as good as it got. Got into the apartment and it was cold. I don’t think it’s unreasonable, given we placed a time we would arrive and the time of year, to have had the heaters on or been on ready for us to get settled in. Not the end of the world but would have been nice given we’ve had this sort of preparation every time we’ve stayed at other venues. Given it was early evening, we planned to watch some TV, have food and a drink. Then the real issues started. They were; - NO INTERNET; a portable WiFi device is at the property. Status was ‘connecting’ (and later ‘no service’) however despite resetting it and doing all we could, it would not work. Fine, can do without WiFi it’s not life and death. Turned the TV on and there’s no freeview….. the whole TV only works if you have Internet to use ‘freely’. Phoned the on call worker, stated it should be working and he would get back to me. 40 minutes past, heard nothing. Tried calling back… no answer. Escalated this through the lady on booking.com who said she would contact the worker and he’ll be in touch. Over an hour after my initial call I get a call from the worker to say it was working earlier in the day and if I wanted him to come out he would only be able to get us in 2 HOURS! Absolutely pointless having someone on call for technical issues. Dread to think if there was something more severe we needed assistance with. Said we weren’t overly bothered about having internet but just a TV would do fine.

Mold on walls,cabinets falling,bed matrices 20 years old,radiator fell off wall ,half roll of toilet paper is all that was left aswell as a broken toilet seat

Very well maintained, great location and overall a very welcoming home.
